PUBHLT 0402 - ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA AND HEALTH Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will focus on how media exposure and the portrayal of medical topics and healthcare professionals in the media influences public perceptions of health and healthcare. Through a mix of readings, class discussions, and presentations from medical, public health, and entertainment industry professionals, students will learn to think critically about health storylines and think creatively about the use of entertainment education.
