PSY 1635 - ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will provide broad exposure to the field of organizational psychology. We will cover concepts of leadership, motivation, group dynamics, personality, organizational development strategies, and other behavioral aspects involved in the effective management of an organization through readings, lecture, video, discussion, and case analyses. The emphasis is on building a sound grasp of leadership practice, and on developing the ability to apply such knowledge to actual business problems. The class format will include multiple hands-on assignments to assist the student in understanding how psychological theories can be applied in a work context.
