BUSBIS 1625 - ELECTRONIC COMMERCE Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Electronic commerce (E-commerce) is a key part of modern business because of a push towards streamlining everything from the front office (customer-facing) to the back office (internal processes). This course emphasizes (1) strategic and conceptual foundations of E-commerce, (2) current technologies that support E-commerce, (3) management decisions that need to be made when building a presence, (4) security and online marketing and advertising. Class discussion and individual and group assignments are designed to help students master these concepts.
