Geology Minor

Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences An understanding of geology is essential to fields as diverse as archeology, ecology and evolution, environmental science, and civil engineering. It is also of great interest to anyone who loves the natural world. The geology minor is designed to provide a grounding in the fundamentals plus flexibility to pursue individual interests.

Electives:
Take at least 9 credits of upper-level or graduate GEOL classes. Check out www.geology.pitt.edu/undergraduate for advice on which electives to take to meet specific goals.
