The Engineering Science minor provides students in engineering or the sciences the opportunity to broaden their education in various areas. The four minor options align with the four tracks in the Engineering Science major and allow students to choose topical areas and courses they are most interested in.
- Engineering Mechanics includes Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Physics courses.
- Engineering Physics focuses on upper-level Physics courses, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering.
- Nanotechnology Chemistry and Bioengineering features Nanotechnology courses, Biology, Bioengineering electives, and upper-level Chemistry courses.
- Nanotechnology Physics and Materials Science includes Nanotechnology courses focusing on upper-level Physics and Materials Science courses.
Each track includes multiple program electives that allow students to customize their degree further and provide a unique experience not found in a traditional engineering minor.
