NUR 1066 - NURSING CARE OF CLIENTS WITH PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS CLINICAL Minimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course focuses on nursing practice of health promotion and restoration in individuals with mental health problems. Application of theoretical concepts and nursing interventions is the focus of the clinical experience in acute, chronic, and community mental health settings. Emphasis is placed on understanding the unique contributions of social and cultural factors in the development of treatment plans for clients experiencing psychiatric problems.
