GSWS 1190 - MASCULINITIES Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 An interdisciplinary examination of theories and select cultural constructs of masculinity, as related to and distinct from male bodies. Masculinity will be considered in its relation to race, ethnicity, nation, class, ability, and sex. Readings will likely come from literary studies, film studies, cultural studies, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, history, and other fields.
