Topics include causes and consequences of international trade, trade and income distribution, commercial policy, political economy aspects of trade policy, preferential trading arrangements (NAFTA, European Union, etc.), Trade and development, and others. While no one geographic area is singled out, examples will come from most areas of the world economy.
