Students must pass at least two of the following core mechanical engineering courses:

Notes

• Students must have passed the prerequisites, or approved equivalents, before taking a MEMS course.
• Regarding courses from other departments that are substantially equivalent to MEMS courses:
  • A student cannot take a MEMS course that is equivalent to another course that they have taken.
  • A student cannot apply more than one course from their major toward a mechanical engineering minor. In other words, at least four of the five courses used to satisfy the requirements for the ME minor must be from the above list of MEMS courses.
