Management Consulting Certificate

Return to: Academic Programs The Management Consulting certificate enables students to become familiar with the structure and workings of the management consulting industry and the essential toolkit of a consultant, while requiring at least one, and allowing multiple, (elective) project-based courses in which students apply that knowledge to gain experience working on a real-life client consulting project.

Admission Requirements
The graduate certificate will follow admissions requirements consistent with existing Pitt Business micro-credential and graduate certificate programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 cumulative GPA from an accredited U.S. university or the non-U.S. equivalent.

Curriculum
The curriculum for the certificate includes those that provide foundational knowledge in management consulting and a customizable set of elective coursework.
- Required credits: 6.0 credits
- Elective credits: 9.0 credits from list of approved KGSB elective courses, or alternate coursework, including from other Pitt schools, with faculty program director approval.
