Return to: School of Law The IBL Certificate will be a ten-month, accelerated program. It will consist of five courses designed to be taken in order. Each is eight weeks long.
The IBL courses will be taught by experienced legal professionals serving as part-time professors, and by Pitt Law Faculty.
Students in this program will not be eligible for financial aid from the School of Law. As this is a distance-learning program, we expect there will be no impact on office, laboratory, or classroom space. There will be a minimal need for additional library resources. Instructors will need to coordinate with Barco Law Library staff for student projects to ensure that digital resources will be available remotely to students wherever, and in whatever time zone, they may be. Students will have access to the library’s existing digital databases. All students in the IBL will be assigned a “library liaison” at the Barco Law Library available to them for assistance.
