In light of the globalization of society, knowledge of differing perspective, traditions, religions, politics, cultures, and health practices is crucial to providing quality healthcare. This course is designed to introduce students to concepts necessary to understand healthcare from a global perspective, to broaden their views of a global society, and to examine their roles within a global community. This course will also introduce students to current school of nursing study abroad programs.
