PSY 0012 - FOUNDATIONS OF PSYCHOLOGY

The course deals with the major issues regarding the understanding of human behavior, and provides a general introduction to the science of psychology. How these issues should be approached using paradigms of an empirical science and the fallacies and misrepresentations that have or can occur when such an approach is not taken are explored. The overall approach will be one of problem solving with the students being required to take an active part in the problem solving process.
