TLL 1907 - COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS WITH FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITIES Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Long Description This course will focus on the role of the professional in supporting families of young children (pre-k - grade 4), including families of children with disabilities and other diverse characteristics. Students will learn about family systems, including how family characteristics affect the development of children, how to communicate, interact, and collaborate with families in school settings, and how to link families with formal and informal community resources.
