NROSCI 2112 - NEUROBIOLOGY OF DISEASE Minimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course is designed to provide a survey of some of the major neurological and psychiatric disorders for the non-clinician. Each session will focus on a particular disorder and will include a patient presentation (live or by video tape), and a discussion of the etiology, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and treatment of that disorder. Participants will be asked to do some background reading each week, to prepare an essay on a topic of relevance to the neurobiology of disease. Reading will consist of reviews and recent research articles.
