RUSS 2230 - HISTORICAL GRAMMAR Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course traces the history of Russian grammatical structure from its state in common Slavic to the present day, concentrating particularly on the development of the verbal and nominal inflectional systems, and on the phonological system. To the extent possible, the course traces dialectical differences among the East Slavic languages, and among the major dialects of Russian.
