Measurement and presentation of data, measures of central tendency and variability, introduction to probability theory, sampling theory, Bayesian analysis, normal and other theoretical distributions, significance tests, and hypothesis testing; chi-square, introduction to regression and correlation analysis. Emphasizes statistical programming utilizing canned statistical packages on the VAX/VMS.
