PSY 0405 - LEARNING AND MOTIVATION Minimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 This course elucidates fundamental principles of learning and motivation as derived predominantly from animal research. Focus is given to the empirical and conceptual processes underlying the facilitation and suppression of behavior, e.g. primary and conditioned reinforcement, non-reinforcement, punishment and avoidance as well as the generalization and discrimination of these processes.
