PS 1702 - CODING AND COMPUTATION SOCIAL SCIENCE Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course introduces students to the methods and techniques of scientific inquiry in political science. It is designed to help students read and understand empirical social science research on both academic and policy issues. During the course, students will learn how to collect and analyze data and will receive instruction on the University of Pittsburgh computer system using batch and interactive statistical programs.
