GER 0001 - ELEMENTARY GERMAN 1 Minimum Credits: 5 Maximum Credits: 5 This is an elementary language acquisition course and aims to teach students how to carry out various functions likely to be necessary in dealing with others in the target language. The course aims to develop all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing, and deals with culture as an integral part of each skill. The language acquisition exercises are supplemented by an integrated and systematic presentation of grammar.
