ENGCMP 1552 - LANGUAGE, LITERACY, LEARNING Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines how individuals and societies acquire, develop, and make use of literacy. Students engage in questions concerning the social and personal consequences of literacy, and they explore various theories and practices of reading, writing, and schooling.
