Return to: School of Education The Applied Behavior Analysis MEd program provides intensive instruction in the theoretical bases of Applied Behavior Analysis as well as the clinical and pedagogical application of the theory and principles. The courses are aimed at special educators and behavioral health providers and are designed to specifically prepare students to apply for the certification examination of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc (BACB). To become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Board requires a Master’s degree, approved coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis, a specified number of supervised practicum hours dependent upon intensity of supervision (750-1500 hours), and successful passage of a national examination following completion of the Master’s degree, required coursework, and supervised practicum.
