Management Consulting Certificate

Katz Graduate School of Business The Management Consulting certificate enables students to become familiar with the structure and workings of the management consulting industry and the essential toolkit of a consultant, while requiring at least one, and allowing multiple, (elective) project-based courses in which students apply that knowledge to gain experience working on a real-life client consulting project.

Admission Requirements
The graduate certificate will follow admissions requirements consistent with existing Pitt Business micro-credential and graduate certificate programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 cumulative GPA from an accredited U.S. university or the non-U.S. equivalent.

Curriculum
The curriculum for the certificate includes those that provide foundational knowledge in management consulting and a customizable set of elective coursework.
- Required credits: 6.0 credits
- Elective credits: 9.0 credits from list of approved KGSB elective courses, or alternate coursework, including from other Pitt schools, with faculty program director approval.
