The BCHS MPH/MPIA joint degree is designed to be completed in three years of full-time study. The BCHS requirements for the MPH/MPIA joint degree are listed below. Students should refer to the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs page for the most current MPIA requirements.
- 45 Public Health credits (6 credits of public health-relevant electives taken in GSPIA can be applied to the 45 credit requirement)
- 78 total credits, including coursework and one 300 contact hour field placement
- practicum
- essay or thesis
