CLRES 2010 - CLINICAL RESEARCH METHODS Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Clinical research methods provides an overview of the basic research strategies, methods, and goals of clinical research. Topics include study design, data analysis and interpretation, and determination of appropriate methodologies to answer different research questions. Bias and confounding in observational research, the clinical value of diagnostic tests, appropriate use of cross-sectional, case control and cohort study designs, and various statistical modeling used in clinical research will be presented.
