OT 2106 - CLINICAL RESEARCH FOR OT Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 OT and rehabilitation research is examined. Emphasis is on interpreting data-based studies and drawing conclusions about the validity of applying the findings to practice, management, or education. Grounding of OT in evidence-based practices is explored. Scientific method, hierarchies of evidence, levels of measurement, and interpretation of research findings are examined. Ethical considerations sur rounding research with human subjects, informed consent, confidentiality, and control groups are also discussed.
