LIS 2024 - DESIGN METHODS FOR INFORMATION PROFESSIONALS Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Student teams focus on how information professionals can use design methods to plan and devise solutions to information challenges in knowledge organizations. Students will learn the steps in the design methods process to identify the information needs of a knowledge organization by studying its mission and organizational culture; research possible solutions; test, propose, and implement solutions through the analysis of case studies; and participate in team construction and project management, as well as practice soft skills necessary for communication and presentation.
