PETE 2211 - RESERVOIR SIMULATION Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course introduces the students to the simulation process of fluid flow in petroleum reservoirs. Governing equations required to describe fluid flow in porous media are derived, numerical techniques for solving the equations are introduced. Students will learn how reservoir flow simulators can be used in assessment studies of hydrocarbon reservoirs.
