MEDEDU 2130 - CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT & EVALTN Minimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 1 This course is designed to explore and develop the principles of curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation. Students will learn the fundamentals of developing goals and objectives; performing a needs assessment for curriculum development; designing the most efficient teaching strategy, including lecture, workshop, and problem-based learning sessions; evaluating student performance, including both knowledge assessment and performance-based assessment; evaluating faculty performance and course success; and strategies for grading.
