BIOENG 2001 - MATHEMATICAL METHODS IN BIOENGINEERING 1 Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 All you don’t want to miss in mathematics will be covered in this first course of bioengineering graduate students. Solving systems of linear equations and ordinary differential equations will be covered with engineering examples and assignments. Finite difference methods for boundary value problems, Laplace equation, Poisson equation, parabolic partial differential equations, and hyperbolic differential equations will be discussed along with project assignments. Fourier series will be introduced as well.
