BIOENG 2580 - BIOMD APPLC SIGNAL PROCESSING Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The goal of this course is to provide students with experience in applying signal processing techniques to medical and biological data. The nature of biological signals and noise, including appropriate physiological background information, will be presented. Digital filtering, spectral analysis, and automated interpretation of signals will be discussed, with examples drawn from current problems in clinical medicine and research.
