NUTR 1630 - NUTRITION THERAPY 1 Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 The first of a two-course sequence which will provide an introduction to medical nutrition therapy in the treatment of acute and chronic diseases. The course will cover pathophysiology and treatment of specific diseases, nutrition implications of specific diseases, nutrition assessment, determination of nutrient requirements, and nutrition interventions including calculation of modified diets.
