BIOSC 1850 - MICROBIOLOGY Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will introduce students to the basic biology, diversity in types, and survival strategies of microorganisms. We will study basic topics, including microbial growth, metabolism, nutrition and genetics, as well as the relevance of microorganisms to human disease, biotechnology and environmental science.
