Dual Degree: Accounting, MS / Analytics and Application of Artificial Intelligence for Business, MS

The STEM-designated Dual MS in Accounting and MS in Analytics & Applications of AI for Business is a 45-credit program that combines advanced accounting preparation with high-demand analytical and AI capabilities. Students enrolled in this program must complete the appropriate number of prerequisites, required, and elective courses according to program requirements, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The Master of Science in Accounting program prepares students for leadership roles in financial, managerial, and tax accounting. Students gain general business knowledge and specialized accounting skills necessary for success. In addition, the program prepares students to pass the CPA Exam, both by covering the content areas of the exam and by satisfying the educational requirements for certification in Pennsylvania and many other U.S. states.

The Dual MS model provides students with a strong competitive edge by combining their discipline expertise with advanced training in analytics, data management, and applied AI for business. Through coursework in data mining, programming, machine learning, database management, and AI deployment, students learn to generate and apply insights to real business challenges across functions. Emphasizing analytic and AI technical skills, responsible AI use, and core business foundations, the program equips graduates to translate complex analysis into strategic decisions that drive innovation and organizational impact.
