The Master of Science in Accounting is a 30-credit program designed to be completed, in two terms, on a full-time basis. The program prepares students for leadership roles in financial accounting, managerial, and tax accounting. Students gain general business knowledge and specialized accounting skills necessary for success. In addition, the program prepares students to pass the CPA Exam, both by covering the content areas of the exam and by satisfying the educational requirements for certification in Pennsylvania and many other U.S. states. Students enrolled in this program must complete the appropriate number of prerequisite, required, and elective courses and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
