Curriculum
In this 15-credit certificate program, students will learn to employ management science techniques such as optimization, simulation, and statistics to deploy minimum resources to achieve maximum outcomes. They will receive interdisciplinary training of problem solving and decision making, with strong emphasis on management, business, consulting, marketing, finance, and other fields. Operations endeavor is omnipresent and cuts across every sector and industry. By completing this certificate program, students can enhance their knowledge and skills to improve organization’s performance
The Graduate Certificate in Management Science would require the successful completion of 15.0 credits including 4.5 credits of required coursework (BQOM 2401 Statistical Analysis and BQOM 2421 Decision Technologies) and 10.5 elective credits to include BQOM 2*** coursework or other with faculty approval.
A student who has completed the School of Business Management Science, Micro-Credential would be able to count, or stack, the credits to the Graduate Certificate in Management Science. The School of Business Graduate Certificate in Management Science would be efficiently stackable to the following School of Business degree programs:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Science in Management of Information Systems (MIS)
- Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Dual Degree MBA/MIS
- Dual Degree MBA/SCM
