The MBA program prepares students to become agile and thoughtful leaders through broad exposure to core business domains and the integrated knowledge needed to navigate complex organizational environments. The program equips students with the skills and applied experiences required to make evidence-based decisions and to drive meaningful impact across a wide range of business settings.

Enrollment Options

The MBA is offered in three enrollment options: Signature, Accelerated, and Part-time.  Each option delivers the same rigorous curriculum and teaching. The three formats are designed to accommodate a range of professional backgrounds, career goals, and scheduling needs.

Signature MBA

The Signature MBA program offers students a unique opportunity to complete a traditional two-year MBA program in only 18 months, allowing them to return to work sooner and thereby increase the return on investment of completing the degree. This full-time option is well suited for students who value an immersive campus experience and the depth of engagement that comes from a cohort-based, residential program. The culiminating experience for students in this program is a week-long Travel Capstone experience.

Accelerated MBA

The Accelerated MBA program enables students to complete the MBA full-time in an intensive 12-month format, minimizing time away from the workforce. Designed for students with extensive post-bachelor professional experience or sponsored professionals seeking to return to their organization within a condensed timeframe, the program begins in early August and is structured across three consecutive terms, concluding in July. The culiminating experience for students in this program is a weekend Pittsburgh-based Capstone experience.

Part-Time MBA (PMBA)

The Part-Time MBA program offers the same curriculum and teaching philosophies as the Signature and Accelerated MBA programs in a format designed for working professionals who do not want to put their careers on hold to pursue their MBA. The degree can be earned in seven semesters by taking approximately six credits per term. The program runs year-round with fall, spring, and summer semesters, with classes held on weekday evenings and select weekends.

Students select a modality, on-campus (in-person) or hybrid, for their courses and complete that portion of the program as a cohort.

In-Person: Core and required courses are delivered on the Pittsburgh campus.

Hybrid: Core and required courses are delivered via live synchronous online sessions, allowing students to participate from anywhere.

Regardless of modality, the culiminating experience for students in the PMBA is an on-campus immersion weekend for the Pittsburgh-based Capstone course.
