Epidemiology, MPH

The MPH in Epidemiology program provides students with an epidemiological approach to public health, which includes a broad overview to epidemiology, biostatistics, and the environmental influences on health, public health planning, and health services.

Students are required to complete a 200-hour practicum in a public health setting and prepare an essay that addresses an issue of public health significance and that demonstrates the ability to synthesize information from numerous sources.  The MPH program is designed to be completed in as few as three semesters of full-time study (excluding 4+1 students).  The requirements for the Epidemiology MPH degree are listed below.

  • 45 Credits
  • Practicum (200-hour minimum)
  • Essay
