The mission of the Multidisciplinary Master of Public Health (MMPH) program is to prepare doctoral level health professionals to blend clinical or other professional training with population-based approaches to improving health. This MPH degree gives students the flexibility to pursue customized competencies tailored to their career goals.
Students are required to complete a 200-hour practicum in a public health setting and prepare an essay or thesis that addresses an issue of public health significance and that demonstrates the ability to synthesize information from numerous sources. The program is designed to be completed in one year of full-time study. The requirements for the MMPH degree are listed below.
