Teacher Education Minor

The undergraduate minor in Teacher Education is a 15-credit program focused on teacher education (grades preK-12). Students choose from a menu of teacher education courses that introduce them to the field and support their future work with youth.

This teacher education minor allows students who plan to enter a graduate program in teacher education to make progress on prerequisite education courses. Completion of the minor does not automatically guarantee admission into a School of Education graduate program, nor does it fulfill all necessary prerequisites.

The program does not provide teacher certification. Undergraduate students seeking teacher certification should pursue our Teacher Education, BS  program.
