Arabic Minor

**On 09/05/2024 the following information was updated in the published catalog in an effort to provide accurate information.**
The 24-credit Arabic minor consists of four language courses, one culture course or one linguistics course, and one elective course. A fifth semester of the Arabic language would satisfy the elective requirement. The Arabic minor can easily be completed with regular Arabic program language offerings. Also offered are English-medium content courses to satisfy the minor elective requirement. Some of the elective options are offered through the Less-Commonly-Taught-Languages Center and the Department of Linguistics, and the rest are offered through other departments across the Dietrich School.

Complete the following four language courses.
(Choose from Egyptian or Levantine)
Complete one culture or linguistics course.
Complete one elective course.
(A fifth semester of the Arabic language would also satisfy this requirement).
(these courses cannot be used for more than one requirement)
