Electronics (Circuits and Devices)

On September 18th, 2023 the Electronics (Circuits and Devices) Area of Concentration within the Electrical Engineering major was approved for termination effective Fall 2023. In order to maintain accurate information, the update was made in the University Catalog on September 18th, 2023.

Requirements

To fulfill the electronics concentration requirements, a student must include any of the following four electrical engineering courses as EE electives:

ECE 1232 - INTRO LASERS & OPTCL ELECTNC
ECE 1238 - DIGITAL ELECTRONICS
ECE 1266 - APPLICATIONS OF FIELDS AND WAVES
ECE 1286 - ANAL & DSGN ANLG INTGRTD CRCT
ECE 1750 - POWER ELECTRONICS CONVERSION THEORY

Design Elective

A student must take one design elective of the following courses:

ECE 1193 - ADVANCED VLSI DESIGN
