Communications Engineering

Requirements

The Communications Engineering Concentration is an area of concentration that consists of 9 elective credits that are classified in the area of communications engineering. Students are required to complete three electives from a selection of at least one of the following courses:

• ECE 1472 - ANALOG COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
• ECE 1473 - DIGITAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

•  

• And one or two of the following courses:

• ECE 1150 - COMPUTER NETWORKS (EE Only)
• ECE 1266 - APPLICATIONS OF FIELDS AND WAVES
• ECE 1560 - DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING (COE Only)
• ECE 1562 - DIGITAL AND ANALOG FILTERS
