Children, Youth and Families Certificate

Return to: School of Social Work The Children Youth and Families Certificate is designed to prepare graduates of the MSW program to provide services to at-risk children and families through a wide range of public and private agencies. Through specialized coursework and internship opportunities, students are prepared for professional practice in settings such as family service agencies, child protection, the courts, early intervention, community-based treatment, and other child and family-focused programs. The Children, Youth and Families Certificate is awarded by the School of Social Work, and provides students with the opportunity to enhance professional competency in providing services to young persons and their families.
