Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program

Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences The Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Program offers graduate certificates in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies at both the master’s and doctoral levels. The interdisciplinary curriculum draws upon faculty expertise in the arts, humanities, and social sciences; and in business, law, library and information science, nursing, medicine, public and international affairs, public health, and social work. The program provides opportunities for students who wish to focus their study on women, gender, and sexuality or who wish to add these areas as a subspecialty.

Admissions
Interested students must make an appointment with the Director of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies program for advising.
Financial Assistance
No initial financial aid is available through the GSWS Program. Graduate students who enroll in the program may apply for financial aid through a home department. Each year, the program hires 4-6 advanced graduate students as instructors or lecturers, and offers research grants for work on gender and sexuality.
