MATH 1080 - NUMERICAL MATH: LINEAR ALGEBRA Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is an introduction to numerical linear algebra which addresses numerical methods for solving linear algebraic systems and matrix Eigen problems and applications to partial differential equations. Although the course will stress a computational viewpoint, analysis of the convergences and stability of the algorithms will be investigated. Academic Career: Undergraduate Course Component: Lecture Grade Component: LG/SNC Elective Basis Course Requirements: PREQ: (MATH 0240 or 0245 or 0241 or 0201) and (MATH 0250 or 0280 or 1180 or 1185)
