NUR 3010 - PHD DISSERTATION Minimum Credits: 1 Maximum Credits: 9 The Ph.D. dissertation fulfills two major purposes: (1) to establish the student’s competency in the conduct of scholarly research, including demonstrated ability to carry out, analyze, and report scholarly research at a high level of professional competency, and (2) to contribute to the science of nursing through the dissemination of results from the investigation.
