TLL 2415 - INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP

This course is designed for students in the K-12 Principal Certification Program.¿ The purpose of this course is to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to be transformational instructional leaders as practicing principals.¿ In order for a school building to reach its potential as a place of learning, it is imperative that principals place the learning of students as the top priority of the school.¿ This requires the principal to be the Lead Learner in the school.¿¿ Concepts included in this course include instructional supervision, equitable learning environments, coaching for change, professional learning communities, professional development design, lesson and assessment design, and launching successful learning initiatives.
