NURSAN 3807 - TRANSITION TO CLINICAL PRACTICE Minimum Credits: 2.5 Maximum Credits: 2.5 This final clinical course is designed to help the student transition from the student role to clinical practice. Students will be expected to create sophisticated patient and case specific management plans. Clinical experiences will be guided by Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and/or Anesthesiologists, but students will be expected to practice with little or no prompting from their clinical supervisors and understand their limitations. Clinical experiences will include specialty cases and experiences in all areas of practice as assigned. Clinical case conferences will be held that challenge the breadth of the students’ knowledge base across the full scope of the clinical and professional role of the CRNA.
