NURSP 2175 - APPLICATION OF HEALTH INFORMATICS IN HEALTH CARE Minimum Credits: 2 Maximum Credits: 2 This course focuses on a conceptual foundation for understanding nursing informatics and includes analysis of various applications of nursing informatics within the context of the health care system. This course introduces theoretical models of nursing informatics, health care computing, and systems design and analysis. Other topics include nursing vocabularies, nursing knowledge generation, data visualization, ethical and social issues in nursing informatics, and the impact of consumer health informatics and public health informatics.
